On July 27 at 19:00, the police station of Erebouni Administrative District received a report that on the same day at 18:00, during works in a newly built building at Aivazovsky Street, the rope of an elevator ripped, and Arayik Martirosyan (born in 1960) and Edmond Tadevosyan (born in 1974), who were in the elevator, were transferred to a hospital and diagnosed with polytrauma.

The same day, the police station of Erebouni Administrative District received a report that at 22:30, Edmond Tadevosyan died in the reanimation department.

On July 28, the hospital sent a report stating that at 09:30, Arayik Martirosyan died since he hadn’t come to his senses.

Forenstic-technical and forensic expert examinations have been designated.

Preliminary investigation is underway.
