STEPANAKERT. – Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Foreign Minister Masis Mayilian on Wednesday met—in the Australian Federal Parliament—with chairman of the Standing Committee on Economics of the House of Representatives, Tim Wilson, and member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and Defense of the House of Representatives, Rex Patrick.
Mayilian presented the foreign and security policy pursued by the Artsakh authorities, the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed. In this context, the FM stressed that the international recognition of Artsakh will contribute to the strengthening of its security and ensuring regional stability.
He also touched upon the steps being taken towards the development of the international cooperation of Artsakh and the expansion of its geographical scope. In this regard, the FM highlighted the need for investments in Artsakh, and said this is crucial for the development of its economy.
Masis Mayilian also noted the importance of raising awareness of Artsakh in Australia and establishing cooperation at various levels between the two countries.
