Naval unit of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) seized a foreign tanker, Mehr agency reported.

The tanker was smuggling 700,000 liters of fuel, in an area near Farsi Island, Iranian agency said.

IRGC navy forces seized the vessel in a surprise operation, the same statement approved.
