YEREVAN. – Third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message to President of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), Bako Sahakyan, on his birthday, Sargsyan’s office informed.

“Being one of the pioneers of the Artsakh movement, you have had your undeniable contribution to the liberation, protection of the sacred land of Artsakh,  from the first days of the liberation struggle, and then to the formation of the regular army, establishment of the Republic of Artsakh, and ensuring the security and welfare of the Artsakh people,” the message reads, in part. “You continue your mission with the same drive today, too, underscoring the unity of our people, the pacific and dignified resolution of the Artsakh problem, Artsakh’s development and unshocked course to a safe haven.”
