The Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations of Armenian National Assembly made a positive conclusion on Thursday on the ratification of the Second Protocol on Amending the Collective Security Treaty of May 15, 1992.

According to Armenian Deputy FM Shavarsh Kocharyan, the amendment has been introduced both to the Treaty and the Charter.

“The only goal is a need for changes, according to which the PM could also occupy this position, if it is provided for by the Constitution, since we have had constitutional changes, and since before that the CSTO stipulated that heads of state were to meet in the governing body,” Deputy FM said.
