Mayor of Ijevan Vardan Ghalumyan has submitted his resignation letter. This is what Governor of Tavush Province Hayk Chobanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Mr. Ghalumyan has submitted a resignation letter. I received the letter a while ago. I will have a meeting with Mr. Ghalumyan, and we will process the letter through the relevant procedure,” he stated.

A criminal case regarding Mayor of Ijevan Vardan Ghalumyan has been instituted on the ground of abuse of official position, and a signature to not leave has been selected as a preventive measure for him.
