Former Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan expressed critical views against Armenian political parties and their leaders.

Commenting on a question whether he was going to return to big politics, Melikyan said: “I have not retired from politics,” According to him, today the parties in Armenia split the society.

“This is an unacceptable approach to me,” Melikyan stressed. He noted it is more important to develop principles and approaches to be able to unite the society.

“It will be a natural process. I consider it a real political activity,” Melikyan noted. According to him, today the political arena is split in Armenia. Each politician makes his own negative contribution to “formation” of Armenia’s political and intellectual elite, Melikyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
