In the city of Ras al Ain, located in northern Syria and previously subjected to the invasion of Turkish troops, several people received severe burns, the Syrian agency SANA reported.

According to the agency, exposure to unknown chemicals may be a likely cause of burns.

Local media report that on Wednesday evening several people were hospitalized with severe burns as a result of shelling of the city by Turkish troops.
