After the US House of Representatives passed a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide, US Ambassador to Turkey David Satterfield was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry, HaberTurk reported.
At the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the American diplomat was told that the House decision had no validity and contradicted the "strategic partnership between the two countries."
