YEREVAN. - The work on the Armenian version of Mozilla Firefox 4 was completed late in March, and the version can be downloaded from www.firefox.com free of charge, Robert Sargsyan, Mozilla Foundation staffer and co-head of the Mozilla Armenia team, told Armenian News-NEWS.am. To date, 213 downloads have been registered.

Many users are still using the Russian version of Firefox 3.6, Mr. Sargsyan said.

“If you set Armenian on default in your computer, www.firefox.com will offer you the Armenian version out of its 70-language base,” he said. Negotiations with Mozilla Foundation are underway now for the Armenian version to be offered to Armenian users irrespective of their PC language.

Mozilla Armenia, a team of young Armenian volunteers, started working at an Armenian version of Mozilla Firefox last summer. The work was carried out in cooperation with Mozilla Foundation experts.
