YEREVAN. – The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has solved a case of large bribe being demanded and taken by senor officials in 2007-2009.

Accordingly, it was found out that some senor officials demanded and regularly took a large bribe from the father of a Yerevan resident girl to carry out activities within their powers to bring the perpetrators of this crime to criminal account. But they were not brought to account. And the person who brokered this bribe returned part of the money that was given as a bribe, but he refused to return the rest saying it was already transferred to the recipients, the NSS informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The NSS has initiated a criminal case that has been sent to the Office of the Prosecutor General to resolve the matter of investigation.
