YEREVAN. - Armenian ex-MP Manvel Grigoryan today again fell ill at his trial, the medical staff took him out of the courtroom, and the court announced a 10-minute recess.

Grigoryan's health had deteriorated at the previous session, too, and the medical staff had taken the defendant out of the courtroom.

Manvel Grigoryan's legal defendants today also filed a motion with the court to release him on a 5mn dram bail, and they again pointed to Grigoryan's poor health as the respective grounds.

The court left for the consultation room to make a decision on this motion.

At a previous court hearing, the court announced that at the next hearing the court will consider the decision to separate Grigoryan’s case from that of his wife, Nazik Amiryan.

Manvel Grigoryan is charged with illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, embezzlement of property, tax evasion, misuse of state funds, and setting up theft of property.

His wife Nazik Amiryan is accused of illegally keeping ammunition and explosives in the three houses they own, as well as committing thefts.
