Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Grigoryan and Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) Igor Grigoryan today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, as reported the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

Based on the provisions of the Memorandum of Cooperation, the Parties will cooperate, acting within the scope of their powers, observing their national legislation in order to warn about, prevent, detect, reveal and investigate the following crimes: crimes against the peace and security of mankind; terrorism and extremism; illicit circulation of weapons, ammunition, explosive substances and explosive devices, atomic and radioactive substances, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances; crimes against the foundations of constitutional order and national security; crimes against life and health, personal freedom, honor and dignity; human trade; crimes committed in the field of economic activity, including tax evasion; smuggling; preparation of fake monies and securities; crimes against ownership, including plunder of vehicles; crimes against environmental safety. The Parties will cooperate in several areas and provide each other with legal aid.
