YEREVAN. – Protests are going on in front of the Government of Armenia building today.

Here are the mothers of soldiers who died in the army for various reasons. They say that a long time has passed since their meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, but their issue has not been resolved yet. They demand monetary compensation for their families, as it was done for the families of those killed in the events in Yerevan in March 2008. Margarita Khachatryan, President of the “Soldier's Mother” NGO, notes that they have raised the issues of 6,646 victims, and most of their parents are on the verge of retirement.

The mothers of soldiers who have died in time of peace are also outside the government building. They demand that cases of their children should be properly investigated.
