The Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Armenian ex-president Robert Kocharyan have friendly relations, communication with PM Nikol Pashinyan is constructive, said Russia’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov in Bishkek in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.
“I can tell you something: during his last visit, Putin met the wife of the second president,” he noted adding that Putin and the second president have friendly relations.
Peskov did not comment on the arrest of Kocharyan. He noted that after the change of power a lot of time passed and the pause in the Armenian-Russian relations was filled.
Moreover, according to Peskov, Pashinyan often talks with the Russian president.
“They have established working constructive relationships. Relations are developing well, as it should be between our two countries,” he noted.
