Chronologically speaking, when the Prosperous Armenia faction of the National Assembly of Armenia started complaining about the investment climate in Armenia, it fell in line with the period in which the Investigative Committee brought a charge against the head of Multi Group for permitting very large misuse within the scope of the North-South Road Program. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during the question-and-answer session with government officials at the National Assembly today.

“What I want to say is that the North-South Road Program served as a program that helped create a very favorable investment climate and a program through which funds were taken by anyone who managed to take them. Now the government is cutting the hands of those people one by one, and it will continue to cut their hands. Everyone should know that they can’t touch the Armenian national flag, statehood, sovereignty and the dignity of the state with their dirty hands,” Pashinyan emphasized.
