YEREVAN. – There are forces in Armenia that are attempting to prove that the Armenian government is acting against family values. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the government session today.

Pashinyan noted that since 2003, it has been Armenia’s obligation to provide orphanage graduates with housing, but the "national" governments and their affiliated parties have been unable to resolve the issue.

"Now that if go in, investigate, find out, and something turns out, those people end up in jail, it'll turn out that they are politically persecuted, right?" he said. "Those who have spent on kebabs the state funds for the sake of the nation now speak for the protection of national values."
