Armenia’s Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan today chaired the annual meeting of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance in Moscow.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the protection of the rights of citizens in the countries of the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance and earmarked the areas of activities for the year 2020. In particular, there will be joint receptions for citizens, joint events devoted to human rights protection, protection of the rights of students pursuing studies in the countries of the Alliance, etc.

The participants also agreed to create an electronic database to share the best practices of the member countries of the Alliance.

During the meeting chaired by the Ombudsman of Armenia, the Defender of Citizens of the Republic of Serbia and the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tajikistan joined the Eurasian Ombudsman Alliance.
