Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called for an end to the dominance of the US dollar, Irna reported.

“The Muslims world should be designing measures to save it from the domination of US dollar and the American financial regime,” he said.

According to him, economic sanctions have become the main instrument of imposing domination. He noted that the global dollar-based financial system allowed the US to impose its illegal demands on other countries through the ‘threat of sanctions’ and ‘economic terrorism.’
