The session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has started in St. Petersburg, Russia.
At the meeting, leaders of the EEU member states - Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan - are discussing current issues and deciding on deepening cooperation and improving the functioning of the EEU single market, RIA Novosti reports.
The informal summit of the CIS member states will also take place today in St. Petersburg.
