YEREVAN. – The Russian military base in Gyumri is the guarantor of security of Armenia and the whole region. Aleksey Sinegubov, adviser to the Russian ambassador to Armenia, stated this today at the 6th annual meeting of the Eurasian Economic Club, in Yerevan.

He noted that 2020 will be a special year for both countries.

Lauding the contribution of the Armenian people in the Great Victory, as well as the fact that Armenia celebrates that date with great splendor, Sinegubov expressed confidence that the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory will be celebrated in a high level and in the spirit of allied relations.
