YEREVAN. – Davit Khazhakyan, head of the opposition Luys faction at the Yerevan Council of Elders, has been summoned to the police. He noted about this on Facebook.

"4 weeks ago, I submitted—from the Yerevan Council of Elders’ podium—a report on crime," he wrote. “1 week ago, I did the same in writing, sending it to the prosecutor's office, although the public publicizing is also a basis for initiating the case.

Today I was summoned to the police to give an explanation, which it turned out that even my written report had not been transmitted to them. I'm not in a hurry to make an assessment on the course of the case, and I'm not in a hurry, in general...

I firmly hold the facts at my disposal; when they decide to want [them], I will hand [those facts] to them."
