President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadirov has criticized the bill on prevention of domestic violence, referring to it as a bill that will destroy the family institution. This is what Kadirov said during a press conference, reports Chechnya’s Grozni state television company.

“Russia is making attempts to pass a law on domestic violence, which will destroy the family institution,” he said, adding that there are such trends in Europe where “there is no understanding of customs, traditions and the family institution” and that “this is why Europeans are slowly become who they are now and getting married to dogs and the deceased”.
