Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan of the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction today denied the two motions filed by the attorneys of former president of the Yerkrapah Union of Volunteer Land Defenders. The last of the two motions was the 14th motion filed by the attorneys.

The attorneys had filed a motion for release on bail for 25 real estate units in the amount of AMD 1 billion 336 million 760 thousand and a motion for release on his own recognizance.

Manvel Grigoryan hadn’t appeared at the hearing due to deterioration of health once again.

Manvel Grigoryan is accused of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, embezzlement of property worth over AMD 101 million, tax evasion of over AMD one billion, embezzlement of over AMD 1 billion from state funds and theft of property worth AMD 37 million and extortion.
