An unusual incident occurred on December 23 in Yerevan.
At about 1am, police received a call that a dispute was taking place at Armenia Marriott Hotel.
The police officers who arrived at the scene detained Russian citizen Stanislav R., 39, a patron at this hotel, and took him to a police station on suspicion of causing bodily harm, shamshyan.com reported.
Police found out that during the aforesaid dispute at 1am, Stanislav R. had punched in the face Russian citizen Aleksandr F., 34, another patron of the same hotel, causing him injuries.
Police are preparing a report on the case.
A forensic medical examination has been appointed.
The victim, Aleksandr F., told the hotel administration that he worked for Russian TV 3.
