YEREVAN. – Mayor Hayk Marutyan today spoke to reporters and commented on the announcement of Davit Khazhakyan, head of the opposition Luys faction at the Yerevan Council of Elders, that former Republican Party of Armenia MP Ashot Arsenyan has donated 10 snow removal trucks to the city hall.

"It's misinformation," Marutyan said. "Jermuk Group LLC has donated 2 vehicles, we have a trilateral donation agreement on 5 vehicles, but at the moment 2 vehicles have been given as a gift, the delivery-acceptance has been new, we will  publicize information  about the vehicles accepted as a gift. We will be able to provide information on the remaining 3 vehicles when the gift is delivered."

To the observation that Jermuk Group LLC is being affiliated with Arsenyan, he responded: "I tell the facts."

And asked if these trucks were donated in exchange for a permit to construct a building, the mayor responded: "Gifts and constructions have nothing to do with each other."
