Moscow will continue to respond to unfriendly attacks from Washington, if they continue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told TASS.

“We will continue to respond to unfriendly attacks if they continue on the American side,” the Russian Foreign Minister said. “However, we believe that it would be wrong to defer indefinitely a solution to problems that are important for our countries and the whole world.”

Lavrov noted that Russian proposals for building interaction with the US in various areas remain “on the table”.

"This also applies to the issue of strategic stability, for the state of which Russia and the US bear special responsibility as the largest nuclear powers," he added.
