US President Donald Trump on Thursday criticized House speaker Nancy Pelosi, urging her to focus on solving the homeless people crisis in California, as she represents it in the lower house of the US legislature.
"California leads the nation, by far, in both the number of homeless people, and the percentage increase in the homeless population - two terrible stats. Crazy Nancy should focus on that in her very down district, and helping her incompetent governor with the big homeless problem!" Trump tweeted.

Since the House of Representatives launched the impeachment process, Trump has often criticized Pelosi. Last week, congressmen approved a two-article indictment of the president: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The charges should now be transferred to the Senate, where the impeachment procedure will turn into a lawsuit. Senators perform the functions of a jury, and the lower house of the US legislature actually acts as a party to the prosecution.
For impeachment to be declared, at least two-thirds of the votes of senators are required (at least 67). For this reason, the probability of voting in favor of impeachment is virtually reduced to zero. Since the beginning of this year, Republicans (based on the results of the November midterm elections) have 53 out of 100 seats in the upper house of Congress.
