In a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am, a police officer said that the customs office is open 24 hours a day. "There are no issues, no problems," he added, in particular. "People are approaching, thanking."

Drivers are trying to clear their cars from customs by 6pm on December 31, as customs duties in the country will increase significantly in January.

Drivers complain that the customs officers are serving people who are not in the queue, as a result of which the few-kilometer-long queue is not moving forward. They fear they will not be able to clear their cars from customs by the New Year.
