Iran is ready to negotiate with the US if Washington returns to the “starting point” in the nuclear deal, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has said, RIA Novosti reported.

"As soon as they [the US] return from the wrong path, once they return from the point from which they organized the new conspiracy against Iran, we are ready to negotiate,” he said in a speech on Iranian television. “But on condition that we return to the starting point."

Rouhani added that the US efforts to "capitulate" Iran will not work.
