Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned a Swiss charge d'affaires, whose country represents the US in Iran, in connection with the assassination of Al-Quds commander General Qasem Soleimani, PressTV reported.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said Friday that the Swiss envoy was notified of Tehran’s strong protest.
He was told that Washington’s actions are a blatant example of state terrorism, and the US regime is responsible for all the consequences, he said.
The IRGC had previously confirmed that Major General Qasem Soleimani, was killed in a US Air Force strike in Baghdad.
