Iran is not pursuing nuclear weapons regardless of the existence of a nuclear agreement with the six nations or its relations with the IAEA, President Hassan Rouhnai said.
Rouhani said even if there is no JCPOA or safeguards agreement with the IAEA, regardless of whether Iran country has good or bad relations with the IAEA, the country will not pursue nuclear weapons, RIA Novosti reported.
He also turned to the European countries (Germany, France and the UK) and said that they would be responsible for the consequences of violating the nuclear agreement, adding that if Europe fulfills its obligations, Iran will also return to them.
