The state of small hydroelectric stations in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) is troubling. This is what leader of Trust Party of Artsakh Grigory Sahakyan wrote on his Facebook page.

The whole world is making the transition to alternative sources of energy. Of course, this is expensive, but what we may lose in the future is worth more.

Artsakh is doing almost the same thing that Europe was doing 50 years ago, but Europe has already realized that it had done the wrong thing back then, but we will realize it many years later when we will have lost many things.

Trust Party is organizing a meeting with field experts and representatives of state-run organizations and civil society representatives to discuss the issue of small hydroelectric stations in Artsakh.

The solution to environmental issues is one of the priorities of the political party,” he stated.
