YEREVAN. – Mihran Poghosyan, the lawyer for president Hrayr Tovmasyan of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, has petitioned to the Special Investigative Service to find out about the information in the controversial report that was broadcast yesterday during the newscast of the state-funded Public Television.
Poghosyan posted this petition on Facebook and made a respective post.
"We are starting the actions aimed at exposing the scope of the perpetrators of yesterday's crime," he wrote, in particular. “P.S.: The organizer is already clear..."
Tovmasyan's legal team had issued an urgent statement accusing the country's main television channel of disseminating investigative materials and deliberately issuing them, as well as grossly violating the presumption of innocence.
