Russia closes almost all air routes with China amid the aggravation of the situation with coronavirus, Interfax reported referring to the Deputy PM Tatyana Golikova.

It comes to all flights, but Aeroflot flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, as well as regular Chinese airlines to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.

It is noted the new regime of air traffic with China will be introduced on the night of Saturday, February 1.

As reported earlier, the first two infected with coronavirus were reported on the territory of Russia. Most of the confirmed cases of coronavirus 2019-nCoV were recorded in China, there are infected in all the Chinese regions, including Tibet. According to the latest data, almost 10 thousand people are infected with the virus, 213 have killed, while 171 patients were completely cured. The infection reached the US, UK, some European countries and Southeast Asia. It is known that the virus is able to be transmitted from person to person.
