President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan has declared that the country doesn’t intend to be in a big conflict with Russia, reports Gazeta, citing NTV.
Erdogan stated that Turkey and Russia have serious strategic plans and noted the importance of the parties’ cooperation in the nuclear energy field.
He added that Turkey won’t refuse the agreement with Russia over the provision of S-400s.
Earlier, Erdogan had reported that 5 Turkish soldiers and 3 civilians were killed after the attack of Syrian troops, after which Turkey’s defense minister Hulusi Akar reported that Ankara destroyed 76 servicemen of the Syrian troops in response to that.
