Russian and Turkish officials discussed de-escalation in Syria’s Idlib during three-hour long talks in Ankara on Saturday, Turkish media reported.
Turkish and Russian delegations comprised senior officials from foreign and defense ministries of the states.
The negotiations between Russia and Turkey are due to the aggravation of the situation in Idlib. As noted earlier in the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian and Turkish military made another attempt to introduce “a regime of silence”, but the terrorists only intensified their attacks.
