Syrian Government has passed a bill lifting emergency law in Syria, reports SANA, country’s state agency.
The government also decided to abolish higher state security council.
A wave of unrest continues in Syria since March. The demonstrators are demanding reforms and lifting of emergency law. Mass protest actions broke pout in Syrian cities on April 15.
Police was reported to fire at demonstrators on March 25 when they took to the streets in the Syrian city of Deraa.
