The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has examined the speech that Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Suren Papikyan gave in the National Assembly today and, in accordance with a particular article of the Electoral Code of Armenia, as an issue that requires an operational solution, immediately contacted the representative of the YES campaign headquarters for the referendum for constitutional amendments and Minister Suren Papikyan, drew his attention to the requirements in the part of a particular article of the Constitutional Law of Armenia “On referendum” and informed him that he has to strictly observe the requirements during the campaign for the referendum, as reported elections.am.

In his speech, the minister had said that citizens of Armenia have the opportunity to vote according to their conscience on April 5 and that all citizens of Armenia are the beneficiaries of the changes expected in the Constitutional Court.
