Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today chaired a discussion on slaughterhouses with all regional governors and the heads and representatives of interested state bodies, as reported the news service of the Government of Armenia.
The aim of the discussion was to identify the obstacles linked to the operation of slaughterhouses and the current issues within different circles. At the outset of the discussion, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that he expects to identify all the sectors that have to be regulated.
The economy minister presented the overall situation in the sector and stated that the instrumentation for financial support to slaughterhouses has been approved.
The regional governors presented the issues on the operation of slaughterhouses raised in their respective provinces.
Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan assigned the representatives of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to gather information about all the issues from the regional governors’ offices and present them briefly in order to provide regulations.
