YEREVAN. – Anna Hakobyan, the spouse of Armenia’s Prime Minister as well as chair of the boards of trustees of the My Step and City of Smile charitable foundations, visited the Brazilian presidential residence (Palacio da Alvorada) in the Brazilian capital city, and she met the First Lady Michelle de Paula Firmo Reinaldo Bolsonaro of Brazil, Hakobyan's press services reported.

At the dinner table after a tour of the presidential palace, the two women stressed the importance of implementing joint programs.

Anna Hakobyan presented to the First Lady of Brazil the activities of the charitable foundations she heads, as well as the purpose of the Women for Peace campaign. Brazil's first lady asked about issues of people with vision and hearing impairment in Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, Anna Hakobyan invited Michelle de Paula Firmo Reinaldo Bolsonaro to Armenia, and the First Lady of Brazil gladly accepted the invitation; according to preliminary agreement, the visit will take place in October.
