Turkey will take unilateral actions unless Russia fulfills its commitments over Idlib, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.

Any decision that will allow to ensure security of the population in Idlib and Turkey's border is acceptable to Turkey, he said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan agreed on a ceasefire and other steps aimed at stabilizing the situation in Syria’s Idlib province at the talks in Moscow on Thursday. According to the agreements, the hostilities in Idlib were terminated along the entire line of contact after the ceasefire came into force on March 6.
