The death toll from the COVID-19 outbreak in Iran has reached 49 only in the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry announced Sunday.
Overall, 194 people have died in Iran where the total number of the coronavirus cases stands at 6,566, Tasnim agency reported.
At least 2,134 patients have recovered from the respiratory disease, Health Ministry spokesman Kianoosh Jahanpoor said.
