Six tremors with magnitude of 5-6 have been registered in Japan within the recent days.

According to Geophysical Service of Russian Academy of Sciences, the earth shocks were registered not far from Honshu Island, RBK reports.

The strongest aftershock was 64 km of Japan’s capital Tokyo. Aftershocks were registered at the depth of 42.9 km.

There were no reports of casualties. No tsunami warning was issued.

On March 11, the largest earthquake (9 magnitude) in the recent years hit the northeast of Japan, triggering a 10-meter tsunami and followed by several powerful aftershocks. A massive earthquake damaged cooling functions of the Fukushima nuclear plant, making the operator to pour seawater into reactors and let out radioactive air into atmosphere.
