Deputy Minister of Justice Kristine Grigoryan received a group of representatives from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) headed by Paolo Spantigati, ADB Country Director for Armenia.

The Deputy Minister expressed readiness for close cooperation, the Ministry of Justice informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The sides discussed cooperation in the framework of judicial reforms.

Spantigati noted that the ADB has been quite active in its cooperation with the private sector, and stressed that in terms of Armenia, they have one of the best examples of cooperation in the region. Spantigati also noted that they are ready to cooperate with both the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Judicial Council.

Deputy Minister Grigoryan presented to ADB representatives the scope of the Ministry of Justice's judicial reforms that are closely linked to private sector activities and the promotion of the business environment in Armenia.

At the end of their talk, the parties reached an agreement on further cooperation.
