The Italian authorities have announced restrictions over the entire country amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Any meetings are banned from March 10, PM Giuseppe Conte said. Sports events except international ones have been canceled, Deutsche Welle reported.
Schools and universities will remain closed until April 3, Conte noted. According to him, public transport will continue to work.
Earlier, the Italian PM said at least 16 million people have been quarantined in Lombardy and other 14 Italian provinces.
There are 9,172 people diagnosed with coronavirus in Italy, 463 people have died, and 724 people have already recovered.
