On March 17, the leaders of France, Germany and possibly Great Britain will hold a summit on migrants. This is what President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters, adding that Turkey isn’t considering the issue of closing its borders to Europe and that Greece has to open its borders.
Erdogan also said that, during the talks in Brussels, the leaders of the EU admitted that Turkey has fulfilled its obligations in 2016.
Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has declared that the European Union should stop “linking Turkey” to the assistance to millions of migrants.
