YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Brussels took place a day before as a surprise; a visit that was not planned in advance.

According to Past newspaper’s, the main mission of Pashinyan's visit to Brussels was the factor of mitigating the stressed negative wave existing within the European structures regarding the [forthcoming] constitutional referendum [in Armenia].

The newspaper's interlocutor, who was deeply aware of the details of the visit, noted that prior to the visit, there was a discussion in Yerevan, during which it was mainly argued that the visit was needed at this stage, at all costs, since despite the poverty of the meetings, a corresponding background needs to be created among the public that everything is ok with regard to the referendum and, in general, the European structures.
