Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan has proposed President Armen Sarkissian to grant Republic of Armenia citizenship to 1,698 people. Avinyan informed about this on Facebook.
"The fact that such a number of people express a desire to become a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, thus becoming also part of the Armenian statehood, inspires and gives extra strength to do our work with even greater responsibility and effort," the deputy PM added.
