Let's agree that the source of coronavirus information is the government, unless the government says so, don't believe any other news. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted this during the YES campaign—in the forthcoming referendum on constitutional amendments—in Zaritap village of Vayots Dzor Province.

"Now we [Armenia] are not among the worst-hit countries in terms of the coronavirus," Pashinyan said. “They also ask whether or not the campaign will continue. To us there can be no political purpose higher than the health and safety of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. If we feel that something is wrong, we will not let anyone else make any decisions before us; we will inform about it."

He added that the good news is that according to statistics so far, children are not impacted from this virus in a major way.

The Prime Minister reiterated that only the information submitted by the government shall be trusted.

Also, Pashinyan urged residents to follow the advice noted on the poster publicized by the Ministry of Health.
